Ingredients
- 1.5 lb lamb, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, coriander, cumin, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and vegetable oil to make the marinade.
- Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the lamb skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
- Serve the Balinese Lamb Satay with peanut sauce and steamed rice.
