Ingredients

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 kaffir lime leaves, thinly sliced
  • 4 banana leaves, cut into 8x8 inch squares

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mushrooms, shallots, garlic, red chilies, shrimp paste, turmeric powder, salt, and kaffir lime leaves.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and place each portion on a banana leaf square.
  3. Wrap the banana leaves to form parcels and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Steam the parcels over medium heat for 20-25 minutes until the mushrooms are cooked through.
