Balochi Anda Curry is a traditional dish from the Balochi Cuisine, known for its rich and flavorful taste. This egg curry is a perfect blend of spices and herbs, creating a delicious and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the eggs, peel and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Now add tomato puree, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and cook until the oil separates.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the masala, stirring continuously.
- Add garam masala and salt, then gently place the boiled eggs in the curry.
- Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes on low heat.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
