Balochi Gosht Ka Salan (balochi Style Beef Stew)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef, cut into chunks
  • 2 onions, finely sliced
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the beef chunks and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the ginger and garlic paste, followed by tomatoes, turmeric, red chili, coriander powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
  4. Pour in the water, cover the pot, and simmer for 2 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
