Ingredients
- 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi or deep pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and mutton pieces. Cook until the mutton changes color.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Whisk yogurt and garam masala together, then add to the mutton. Cook on low heat until the mutton is tender and the oil separates.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
