Balochi Gosht Korma (balochi Style Beef Korma)
Balochi Gosht Korma is a traditional beef dish from the Balochi Cuisine, known for its rich and aromatic flavors. This recipe combines tender beef with a blend of spices and yogurt to create a delicious and hearty korma.
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef, cut into cubes
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add the beef cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Stir in the yogurt, tomatoes, and all the spices. Mix well.
- Cover the pot and let the korma simmer on low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
