Balochi Gosht Korma (balochi Style Beef Korma)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, finely sliced
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add the beef cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  4. Stir in the yogurt, tomatoes, and all the spices. Mix well.
  5. Cover the pot and let the korma simmer on low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
