Ingredients
- 500g fish fillets
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the fish fillets with yogurt, turmeric, and salt. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Add red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Gently place the marinated fish fillets into the curry, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes until the fish is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan.
