Ingredients
- 500g chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a handi or deep pan, and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until the water dries up and the chicken is tender.
- Now, add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the fresh cream and garam masala. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
