Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi or deep pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in ginger and garlic paste, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
