Ingredients
- 500g Baltic herring fillets
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove any bones from the herring fillets and chop them into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped herring, onion, and hard-boiled eggs.
- Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to the bowl and mix until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Refrigerate the pâté for at least 1 hour before serving.
