Ingredients
- 4 slices of rye bread
- 1 can of Baltic Sea sprats
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Open the can of Baltic Sea sprats and drain the oil.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and chopped fresh dill. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mayonnaise mixture on one side of each slice of rye bread.
- Divide the sliced onion evenly and place on two slices of bread.
- Top the onion with the Baltic Sea sprats and sliced hard-boiled eggs.
- Cover with the remaining slices of bread to make two sandwiches.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan and serve immediately.
