Ingredients
- 500g bamboo shoot, sliced
- 200g smoked fish, flaked
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4-5 green chilies, slit
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
- Add the sliced bamboo shoot and diced potatoes. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients. Cover and cook until the bamboo shoot and potatoes are tender.
- Add the flaked smoked fish and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Adjust the seasoning and serve hot with steamed rice.
