Ingredients
- 250g bamboo shoot, thinly sliced
- 200g smoked fish, flaked
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 3-4 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced potatoes and fry until they are golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the sliced onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the bamboo shoot and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
- Stir in the flaked smoked fish, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the fried potatoes to the pan and mix well with the bamboo shoot and fish.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
