Ingredients

  • 6 ripe bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 12 lumpia wrappers
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  2. Place a halved banana on a lumpia wrapper and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  3. Roll the banana in the lumpia wrapper, folding the sides in as you roll.
  4. Seal the edge with a bit of water.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the wrapped bananas until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve the banana lumpia warm and enjoy!
