Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add sliced onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  4. Add shredded cabbage and mix well. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
  5. Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
