Ingredients
- 500g beef, cubed
- 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
- Stir in the paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add the potatoes and carrots to the pot and continue to simmer for another 30-40 minutes, or until the beef and vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and dill. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Remove the bay leaves before serving.
