Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and parsley. Shape the mixture into meatballs.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, sugar, and paprika. Stir to combine, then return the meatballs to the skillet.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
