Bavarian Meatballs (Bayrische Fleischbällchen)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Dredge the meatballs in flour, shaking off any excess.
