Ingredients

  • 500g ground pork
  • 250g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1/2 cup crispy fried onions
  • 4 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  2. Form the meat mixture into 4 burger patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the burger patties for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Toast the burger buns in the skillet for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, topping with a slice of cheese, crispy fried onions, and a dollop of mustard. Cover with the top half of the bun.
