Ingredients

  • 500g BBQ pork, diced

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 package of store-bought bun dough

Instructions

  1. In a pan, combine the diced BBQ pork, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and five-spice powder. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the water and cornstarch to make a slurry. Add the slurry to the pork mixture and cook until thickened. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. Divide the bun dough into 12 equal pieces. Flatten each piece into a circle and place a spoonful of the BBQ pork filling in the center. Seal the bun and place it on a square of parchment paper.
  4. Place the buns in a steamer and steam for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove the buns from the steamer and serve hot.
