Bbq Ribs (liberian Style Bbq Ribs)
BBQ Ribs, also known as "Grilled Pork Ribs" in Liberia, are a popular dish enjoyed by many. The ribs are marinated in a flavorful blend of spices and then grilled to perfection, resulting in tender and juicy ribs with a smoky and slightly sweet flavor.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork ribs
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to make the marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the ribs. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
- Grill the ribs over indirect heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, turning occasionally, until the meat is tender and no longer pink.
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving.
