Beaufort Mee Sup
Beaufort Mee Sup is a popular dish in Sabahan Cuisine, known for its flavorful broth and tender noodles.
Ingredients
- 500g fresh yellow noodles
- 300g chicken breast, sliced
- 1 liter chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, heat some oil and sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add the chicken slices and cook until no longer pink.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the yellow noodles according to the package instructions.
- Divide the noodles into serving bowls and ladle the hot soup over the noodles.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
