Ingredients
- 500g fresh prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, julienned
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt to taste
- Chopped spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a steaming pot over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic, ginger, and sliced chilies. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water. Stir well to combine.
- Place the prawns in a single layer in the steaming pot.
- Cover and steam for 5-7 minutes until the prawns are cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and transfer the prawns to a serving dish.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
