Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry (Sauté de bœuf et légumes)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  2. Add the beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in the same skillet. Add the onion, bell peppers, and carrots. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Add the garlic, soy sauce, ginger, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and serve the sauté de bœuf et légumes hot.
