Beef Broccoli (Stir-Fried Beef with Broccoli)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry the marinated beef until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, sauté garlic and onions until fragrant. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return the beef to the wok, pour in the beef broth, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
