Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) beef, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) water
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the minced beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and water to make a smooth batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Take spoonfuls of the beef mixture, dip them into the batter, and carefully place them in the hot oil.
  5. Fry the fritters until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve the beef fritters hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
