Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Sliced lime
  • Steamed white rice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the sliced onion and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Serve the beef loc lac on a platter with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and lime slices.
  5. Enjoy with steamed white rice and a side of dipping sauce.
