Beef loc lac is a traditional Cambodian dish that features tender strips of beef marinated in a flavorful sauce and served with fresh vegetables and a zesty dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced cucumber
- Sliced lime
- Steamed white rice
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the beef, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add the sliced onion and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the beef loc lac on a platter with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and lime slices.
- Enjoy with steamed white rice and a side of dipping sauce.
