Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked beef mixture over the chips, then top with the shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with diced tomato, black olives, jalapenos, sour cream, and cilantro.
