Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef chunks with salt and pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Brown the beef chunks on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until softened.
