Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken legs
  • 200g sticky rice
  • 50g shiitake mushrooms
  • 50g bamboo shoots
  • 50g Chinese sausage
  • 4 slices ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 scallions
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the sticky rice, shiitake mushrooms, and bamboo shoots in water for 2 hours.
  2. Marinate the chicken legs with soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, ginger, and garlic for 1 hour.
  3. Stuff the marinated chicken legs with the soaked sticky rice, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and Chinese sausage.
  4. Wrap each chicken leg with parchment paper and then aluminum foil.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 2 hours.
  6. Unwrap the chicken legs and serve hot.
