Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Stir-fry the beef until browned, then remove from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the wok.
  4. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch.
  6. Pour the sauce into the wok and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add the beef back into the wok and stir to coat with the sauce.
  8. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
