Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, then remove from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté the onions, bell pepper, and garlic until they are soft and fragrant.
- Add the tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the white vinegar and chicken broth, then bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the pot and let the soup simmer for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
