Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups vegetable broth
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Stir in the paprika, black pepper, and salt, and cook for another minute.
- Add the white beans and vegetable broth to the pot, and bring to a simmer.
- Cover the pot and let the beans simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the lid and continue to simmer for an additional 15 minutes, or until the beans are tender and the liquid has thickened.
- Remove from heat and let the prebranac cool slightly before serving.
