Berliner Currywurst Burger

Ingredients
- 4 burger patties
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup curry ketchup
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the stovetop grill or a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- In a small saucepan, combine the curry ketchup and curry powder. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
- Season the burger patties with salt and pepper, then grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading the curry ketchup on the bottom bun, adding the lettuce, tomato, burger patty with melted cheese, and chopped onions, then topping with the top bun.
