Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped onion, minced garlic, vegetable oil, tamarind paste, ground coriander, ground turmeric, ground cumin, salt, and sugar to make the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and mix well to coat the beef. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated beef onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the beef skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
