Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 10-12 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the kecap manis, vegetable oil, lime juice, salt, and sugar to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
