Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 10-12 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the kecap manis, vegetable oil, lime juice, salt, and sugar to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill the chicken skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
