Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked white rice
- 1 cup of oncom (fermented soybean)
- 3 shallots, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of tamarind paste
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the shallots, garlic, and red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the oncom and tamarind paste. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked white rice to the pan. Mix well with the oncom mixture.
- Season with salt to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the rice is heated through and well combined with the oncom mixture, remove from heat.
