Bhut Jolokia Pork Roast

Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork shoulder, boneless
- 4 Bhut Jolokia peppers, finely chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Score the pork shoulder and rub it with the turmeric, cumin, coriander, and salt.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the pork shoulder until browned on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- Add the onions, garlic, ginger, and Bhut Jolokia peppers to the Dutch oven. Cook until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Return the pork shoulder to the Dutch oven and add the water. Cover and roast in the oven for 2 hours, or until the pork is tender.
- Once cooked, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the Bhut Jolokia Pork Roast with your favorite sides and enjoy the fiery flavors!
