Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 tablespoons black tea leaves
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the black tea leaves and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and strain the tea into a bowl.
- Return the strained tea to the pot and add the butter and salt.
- Whisk the tea vigorously until the butter is fully melted and the tea becomes frothy.
- Pour the tea into cups and serve hot.
