Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons black tea leaves
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  2. Add the black tea leaves and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and strain the tea into a bowl.
  4. Return the strained tea to the pot and add the butter and salt.
  5. Whisk the tea vigorously until the butter is fully melted and the tea becomes frothy.
  6. Pour the tea into cups and serve hot.
