Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 tomatoes, diced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the chopped onions and cook until translucent.
- Add the diced tomatoes, potatoes, and spices. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, add the fried chicken pieces, and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
