Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, sliced

- 1 cup green beans, trimmed
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Stir in the turmeric, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant.
- Add the tomatoes, green chilies, potatoes, carrots, and green beans to the pot. Season with salt and mix well.
- Pour in the water, cover the pot, and let the stew simmer for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken and vegetables are tender.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed and serve hot.
