Ingredients
- 1 lb pork, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
- Add the pork pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
- Stir in the turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, and salt.
- Add the diced potatoes, chopped tomatoes, and green chilies. Mix well.
- Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the pork and potatoes are tender.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed and serve hot.
