Bhutanese Spicy Buckwheat Noodles (puta)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups buckwheat noodles
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 3-4 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the buckwheat noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until they are translucent.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and green chilies to the pan and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and salt, then add the boiled buckwheat noodles to the pan. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
