Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, ground into a paste
- 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is browned.
- Stir in the red chili powder, garam masala, and cashew nut paste. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add water as needed and simmer until the chicken is tender and the gravy is thick.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
