Bihari-style Keema Paratha (बिहारी-स्टाइल कीमा पराठा)

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour with water and knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the minced meat with chopped onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, fresh coriander leaves, and salt.
  3. Divide the dough and meat mixture into equal portions.
  4. Roll out each portion of the dough into a small circle and place a portion of the meat mixture in the center.
  5. Seal the edges and roll out into a paratha.
  6. Cook the paratha on a hot griddle with oil until both sides are golden brown.
  7. Repeat the process for the remaining dough and meat mixture.
  8. Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
