Bihari-style Shahi Paneer (बिहारी-स्टाइल शाही पनीर)

Ingredients
- 250g paneer, cubed
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup cashew paste
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add tomato puree and cook until the ghee separates.
- Now, add cashew paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the fresh cream and sugar, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes and simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
