Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the Bisquick mix and sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vanilla extract, and egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times.
  6. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut into 8 wedges.
  7. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let the scones cool for a few minutes before serving.
