Bitterballen Pizza Rolls
Bitterballen Pizza Rolls are a delicious fusion of Dutch and Italian cuisines, combining the traditional Dutch bitterballen with the flavors of a classic pizza. These bite-sized snacks are perfect for parties, game nights, or as a fun appetizer for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 package of puff pastry
- 1/2 cup of marinara sauce
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of chopped pepperoni
- 1/4 cup of chopped black olives
- 1/4 cup of chopped bell peppers
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into small squares.
- Spread a teaspoon of marinara sauce on each square.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the sauce.
- Add a few pieces of pepperoni, black olives, and bell peppers on each square.
- Roll up the squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top of each roll with beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
