Ingredients
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup Melnbālsam liqueur
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
- Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1 minute.
- Add the unsalted butter and Melnbālsam liqueur to the bowl and stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours, or until it is firm enough to scoop.
- Using a small spoon or melon baller, scoop out small portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into balls using your hands.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder to coat evenly.
- Place the coated truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
