Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup cherry brandy (Kirschwasser)
- Whipped cream and additional cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs.
- Gradually add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped dark chocolate, maraschino cherries, and pecans. Stir in the cherry brandy.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
